What I collect, and what I don’t

Short version: this site collects very little, I don’t run ad trackers, and I will never sell or share your information. The longer version is below, including the two third-party services that do collect something.

Last updated: September 16, 2026. This policy covers gtmdfw.com, operated by Nathan Hatzfeld (GTM DFW), Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas.

What this site collects directly

Nothing that identifies you, unless you send it to me. There is no account system, no login, no advertising network, no retargeting pixel and no cross-site tracking on this site. I do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone, and there is nothing here to sell.

Traffic measurement

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which records aggregate traffic statistics — page views, referring sites, approximate country, browser and device type. This measurement is cookieless and aggregate: it tells me that eleven people read the pricing page last week, not who they were. I use it to understand which pages are useful and which are not.

Product analytics

This site also runs PostHog to measure which pages get read and which buttons get used — page views, referring site, approximate location, browser and device, and a small number of named events like “someone clicked the booking link” or “someone submitted the contact form.” Those events record what was clicked, never what you typed: the contact form reports which service was selected and whether a company name was filled in, and nothing else. Your IP address reaches PostHog as part of serving the request and is used to place you in a country and region. There is no advertising profile, no cross-site tracking, and no data sold to anyone.

PostHog is loaded from this domain rather than from its own, which is normal practice to keep measurement working when a browser blocks third-party requests. I am telling you because the alternative — quietly routing around your blocker without mentioning it — is exactly the thing this page is supposed to be honest about. If you would rather not be measured, a tracker blocker set to block first-party analytics, a private window, or JavaScript off will all stop it, and the site works normally in every one of those cases.

Booking a call

The contact page embeds a scheduling calendar from Calendly. If you book a call, Calendly collects the information you enter — typically your name, email address and any notes you add — and shares it with me so I can meet you at the agreed time. Calendly is a separate company with its own privacy policy, and its embedded widget loads its own analytics when that page opens. If you would rather not load it at all, email me instead at nathan@gtmdfw.com and no third-party code is involved.

The contact form

The form on the contact page composes a message in your own email client. Your details go from you to me by email, and are not posted to any third-party form service.

What I do with what you send me

If you email me or book a call, I keep that correspondence so I can do the work and remember the conversation. I use it for one purpose: talking to you about the engagement you got in touch about. I will not add you to a mailing list, a newsletter or an outbound sequence because you contacted me. That should not need saying, but given what I do for a living, I am saying it.

Client confidentiality

If we work together, everything I learn about your business is confidential and stays that way. I will not name you publicly, describe your project in marketing, or use your logo without written permission — and that obligation is written into every engagement agreement I send, not just this page.

Fonts

Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google when the page loads. Google receives the request and your IP address as part of serving the file.

Your choices

You can block scripts, use a tracker-blocking extension or a private window, and this site will work normally — all of the content is readable with JavaScript disabled entirely. If you want a copy of anything I hold about you, or want it deleted, email nathan@gtmdfw.com and I will handle it directly. There is no ticket queue; it is one person.

Questions about any of this?

Ask me directly. I answer my own email and I’d rather explain something than have you guess at it.

Or send a note

Tell me what is eating your week. I read every one of these myself.

No sequence, no drip, no newsletter. One human reply.
